Celebrating Christmas

This year, the Jantzen family gathered at the farm in Plymouth. What a blessing to see family again to celebrate Christmas together.

We also took this opportunity to give Alex a pre-birthday party by making pets de nonne.

Before traveling to Nebraska, we had a quiet Christmas at home. The kids were ecstatic about the idea of opening presents a day before.

Holiday Outing

Winter break is here. Time to go to Union Station to check out all the holiday decorations and events.

We started the day by visiting the Da Vinci exhibition. Lots of fascinating inventions and art to check out there. Then we took the Link to walk to Crown Center to see Santa, as Sophie insisted to speak to him for the first time ever. We stopped at Science City to release some steam. What a full day!

Are you ready for us Leonardo?!?

Cool inventions one after another

French Xmas Party

Although relatively small in size, the French community of Kansas City knows how to party. We welcomed new families who just arrived. All enjoyed the buches de Noël, photo booth, songs by "Made in France Band" and Christmas story. Joyeux Noël à tous !

Bredele for neighbors, coworkers, teachers and more

Inseparable

Who likes buches ?!?

More dessert for everyone

Buche or Bredele? Both, of course!

We like to party!

Guys can't sit still. Sounds familiar?!?

Girls just want to have fun!

Christmas Program

Here are a few photos and clips of our Christmas program at church. Alex was very comfortable on stage and Sophie did great too!

Look at that face! Isn't he the sweetest boy?!?

Well, he was smiling because he was coloring in Sophie's space.
I guess all brothers have to bug their sisters from time to time...
