After a short picture taking visit on Sunday, let's go eat where Alex works. Buffalo State Pizza, here we come (again)!
What should I order?
Alex is doing a great job serving pizza to customers.
Apparently, smiling is optional when his own family comes though...
Maman wanted to say hi to Alex at work. Although Papa & Sophie were quite embarassed that we just walked into the pizzeria and didn't order anything (at 3pm), Maman had no issues going in to take pictures of Alex. Blog content, folks! Especially for our most fervent reader: uncle Vern. There you have it!
Ian & Alex folded quite a few pizza boxes!
What a special day: Alex was baptized today. Years have flown by since his child dedication in 2009.
Pastor Ruth checking with Alex before the service.
Children's time.
Did Alex just promised he'll attend every church meeting?!?
Rainbow baptism service: 8:30-29.00.
Family time.
Cyprian came to congratulate his friend.
Snapchat seems to keep them both busy.
Alex did it. Sophie is already wondering how she'll avoid getting on the stage when her time comes.
Dim sums at Bo Ling for lunch.
It's now official.
Alex went to his high school homecoming dance with a group of friends. Good times!
Thank goodness for Papa helping Alex getting ready.
Alex & Tucker looking sharp.
Kermit makes a great backdrop!
Tucker, Jackson, Andrew, Jack, Alex & Roman
HoCo dance.
What's up bruh?!?
Damenic
After-party at Lane's house.
HoCo friends having a ball.
A beautiful fall evening for Lee's Summit Octoberfest with our friends Dan & Linda. Alex missed out as he preferred to attend the homecoming football game with his buddies.
Dear Octoberfest,
we're back!
Dan & Papa in deep discussion about beer perhaps...
Sara & Sophie still want to ride the elephants like when they were toddlers.
Lee's Summit heart on display.
Checking out reading glasses. Not that Linda and Maman need any (yet)...
Downtown Overland Park fall festival is going on. Sophie was lured to the farmers' market when she heard the French booth has beignets.
Got a donut and brioches. Yum! The prices are way higher than France though.
It's fall alright with gourds everywhere.
$12 for a crèpe at the food truck. Maman is going to make some tonight instead.
With Alex working part-time now, it's a little harder to fit in celebrations. Eating Vietnamese two days early doesn't seem to affect him... Happy family day, Alex! We love you.
Alex started playing ultimate. Great time for a walk while waiting for Alex to be done with his practice.
