Linzertorte

Papa had watched Oma make Linzertorte. He sure learned from the best. A few years later, he decided it was about time to revive the tradition and rolled up his sleeves again. Oma would be proud!

Talent Show

The school talent show was a success again. This year, Sophie's got the courage to play in front of her friends. It's a little bit different than playing at her piano recital. They both did awesome as usual!

3rd graders waiting for the show to start

Sophie was 2nd to play, way to put the butterflies away!

"Fallen Leaves"

Alex was 2nd to last encouraged by his friend Josh

"Moonlight Sonata"

Glasses

Guess who got glasses now? Sophie is so excited to have glasses just like her big brother. Maman doesn't recall that she was so happy about it at her age though. Glad they make pink and purple frames nowadays!

Parade

We volunteered to help with the Brookside St Paddy's Day parade. Evidently, they even let the French in... Although we didn't find a pot of gold, the kids had fun handing out candy. A beautiful day which hopefully signals the start of spring!

Are we going to have enough candy?

One bucket per street only

Getting ready to have these puppets be the star of the show

I'm ready to get this show on the road!

Maman is moving St Patrick's left hand

I want some candy too!

Great time being part of the parade for the first time.
Maman, can we do this again next year?!?

B-Day Party

Our friend Tyler Jae turned 10 and came to KC to celebrate with us. We started off eating Japanese and then off to Urban Air to release some energy.

Sushi train for lunch

Happy birthday, Tyler Jae!

Cars

The kids (big and small) started their spring break with the auto show.

Stuffies

Apparently the family blogger took a break and no one volunteered to take over... Let's just say it's been a long winter. So we're back with a few pictures and updates.

When it's cold out, time to count how many stuffed animals one may own. That's not even all of them, I'm afraid...

Yes, we know, we're a little spoiled...
