Rafting

First white water rafting experience was a blast! Our guide at Rapid Transit Rafting was quite entertaining and made this level 2-3 trip memorable.

All aboard! The Colorado River is ready for us.
Surprisingly not as cold as the streams coming down the glaciers.

Safety vests, sunscreen, hats: ready for our 4-hr float trip.

Beautiful upper Colorado River views.
Saw some eagles and a racoon.

Sophie learned to paddle in the rapids.

Fun day with our TX friends: Karl, Kelli, Christian & William

Let's play "spin the boar rodeo"!

Alex didn't last 8 seconds to win the game. Splash!

Sophie is ready to jump in the river too!

Swimming

Row your boat!
Mom, can we do a level 5 next time?!?

Estes Park

Can't do SEAPI Camp this year. However, the mountains are still calling! A few days in Estes Park will do the trick.

Instead of staying at the YMCA, we rented a cottage this year.

On top of chipmunk houses.

Downtown Estes Park river walk
after the mandatory ice cream stop.

pretty flower displays

Not too many tourists this year.

This creek is cold!
