Molière

A play in French in Kansas? No way! What an awesome way to celebrate Molière's 400th birthday this year.

An original play that had us all laughing: "M the Molière"

All dressed up for a night at the theater
with French friends Isabelle & Marie-Pierre.

Amélia, Isabelle, Christèle, Alan & Maman

Lincoln

Alex, Sophie and Papa drove up to Lincoln for the day to celebrate aunt Linda's dad's 90th birthday.

Sophie's Birthday

Look who turns 12 today! Happy birthday, sweet Sophie!

When the flowers bloom, it means one thing:
Sophie's birthday is near! Yeah!

All the animals (and family members) are present
to open presents (no pun intended)!

I made a wish list for Papa.
Has he gotten me what I wanted?

Someone is in the dog house (again)...

After waiting for 2 years, Sophie made it back to her favorite
all-you-can-eat Italian buffet restaurant to fill up on pasta & pizza.
Life is good again!

Cute Minecraft fox lego set.

Happy birthday, Sophie - from near and far!

Garage Project

Let's go to the garage to help Papa fix the pinball machine.

So many cables coming out of everywhere!

Sophie would rather roller skate.

If we hide on the roof, do you think
Papa will forget about us helping out?!?

I'm not coming up, Alex. I'm just skating!

Vegas

Maman got to travel to Las Vegas for a conference. Kids, we're definitely not in Kansas anymore...

Ready to travel for business again:
leggings and Yellow gear it is!

Sunrise from the Aria hotel room.

View from the 64th floor of the Delano lounge.

Now my favorite part of the strip: the Bellagio.
Dale Chihuly's “Fiori Di Como”
in the lobby of Bellagio is simply stunning.

Enter the Bellagio's conservatory & botanical garden

with its thousands of flowers on display.

Maman could stay here for a while.

The displays are so peaceful and inspiring.

Now, the rest of the strip is far less inspiring.

Casinos everywhere.

And a half-size Eiffel tower.
