We celebrated lunar new year with FBWC a weekend early this year. It was a lot of fun planning for this event again, especially when it included live pigs and guinea pigs!

Recital

Piano recital before the second snow storm of the week. The kids did very well again. Sophie received her first medal for 1 year and Alex 4 years of learning piano.

Snow

Last weekend we experienced a winter wonderland. It was quite a serene scene with 8'' of heavy snow until such time that the power lines decided to stop working. Two days without electricity kind of throws a wrench on the family plans and we had to improvise to find hang out places to stay warm. Thumbs up for the public library and friends' houses!
