Flower Girl

April is all about Sophie this year. She has a birthday coming up and is counting the days to the big celebration. She just enrolled in kindergarten and is thrilled about going to Alex' school starting August. But the very special event this month was attending her first wedding.

Sophie got invited to be the flower girl at cousin Josh's wedding. She initially wasn't too sure about this. Until she heard that this role came with a pretty dress and shoes. That was enough to convince her that she was not as shy as people may think and could actually do it! So proud of our girl!!!

Girls Weekend

While Alex and Papa spent time at Men and Boys' retreat at Camp Mennoscah, the girls had their own special weekend at home. Boy was it quiet without the guys around. We enjoyed going clothes and shoe shopping, making a kiwifruit tart with lime curd for a dinner party, and spending time at the Prairie Fire Museum.

I found a unicorn!

Guess who didn't want any fruit on her tart?

Easter

Coloring eggs and making art doesn't get old when it comes to Easter. Sophie still wonders where the Easter bunny may live and would like him to hide Kinder Chocolade eggs and bars next year...

Here is my ant farm

Making little bunnies and chicks is too much fun!
